Oops: An American Airlines pilot spilled coffee in the cockpit earlier this week, causing a Chicago-Frankfurt flight to make an unplanned stop in Toronto for the night. As if that wasn't bad enough: the coffee caused the "hijacking" alarm to go off on the plane. The travelers were put up in a hotel overnight and flew out on Tuesday. What about all of the incessant "NO LIQUIDS" carry-on policies? Looks like AA should practice what they preach, or simply someone should buy this guy a travel mug. I took the liberty of finding him one for $6.99 (w/ free Prime shipping) via Amazon. A trending "no spill" Starbucks mug, with your favorite state name on it! Yet to hear a comment from crowd-pleaser, TSA.
Maybe 5 Hour Energy can utilize this accident to make better TV commercials.
